Dear Community Business Leader:

Fairview High School has had many exciting changes and accomplishments over the last couple of years:

● Our award-winning Mechatronics program

● Numerous students graduating with an associate’s degree before they ever graduate with the high school diploma

● Our new EMS program where students can actually graduate with an EMS certificate which will assist them in graduating from college quicker

● The remodeling of our school cafeteria which now includes a salad bar offering the students healthier and more “adult” type options for lunch

● Over $2,700,000 dollars in scholarships offered to the graduating class of 2024

FHS continues to advance the education of our youth as they set out to make a difference both in the community and the world. In this effort, we need your support to help expand on the already amazing things that are occurring at our home town high school. With the generous support of our local business wonders and fundraisers last year, the Fairview Parent Teacher Organization was able to grant teacher and student wishes over the $5,000 mark! Some examples are:

● Various science department requests

● A new cart and button maker for our library

● Funds for our speech pathologist so she could buy items to assist students

● Items for AP Capstone research programs (such as butterfly larva, bulk supplements to research the correlation between amino acid supplementation and the blood oxygen levels in high school athletes)

● Items to assist the nurse with our diabetic friends, female students needing feminine supplies, tissues and cleaning supplies

● Brackets and shelves to help organize the weight room

● Items for Transition 1 students

● Janitorial items such as trash grabbers, a dolly, etc…

● Helped in hosting a career day and graduation for our students
